Rice Bran Arabinoxylan Compound (RBAC) is an immune modulating rice and mushroom derivative, with decades of clinical use and research, and is the most widely studied rice-bran polysaccharide.
It is a potent Biological Response Modifier, a term given to compounds which are able to favourably modify immune responses by both enhancing or suppressing immune function in order to support patients with serious and non-serious illness.
Derived from defatted rice brain, the rice bran polysaccharides undergo hydrolysis by carbohydrate-digesting enzymes from Lentinula edodes (Shiitake mushroom) resulting in low molecular weight, and immunologically active, arabinoxylans.
